Sophotects are ALEPH's doctor/engineer unit. These days, each faction has a very nice support pack with a doctor, engineer and some helper bots in. However this Sophotect dates from before then, so I had no Yudbot helpers. Unbound from the constraints of box sets I decided to use the Nomad Fastpanda figure as my helper robot buddy. Because hey, who wouldn't want a cute panda stitching them up after they get riddled with bullets? It7s enough to make you want to get hit with a HMG, right? No? Just me?

Infinity - ALEPH Asura plus Tactbot
A couple of new figures this time. The Asura was a little disappointing to be honest. The detail wasn't so crisp, the face was at a slightly odd angle and the nose was slightly miscast. Sad, because I really like the general design. A let down after the Naga hacker from the same box set.

Infinity - ALEPH Naga Hacker
I've been painting Infinity stuff like mad recently. It's a lot of fun to paint and a nice change from the overwhelmingly huge army projects of 40k.
Today I managed to get outside into some semi-decent light and take some pictures of what I've got painted so far. Here's the ALEPH Naga Hacker, which is possibly one of my favourite sculpts.

My workspace
It's been a while!
Recently, I moved to a new apartment, so I've been getting my new work space set up. Also my order for a bunch of ALEPH stuff arrived, so I've been building that. I hate working with metal. Plastic for life.
Anyway, everything is built now and I can get back to painting.
Here's where I work these days:

Dark Eldar Venom
After the first squad was done I knew I needed to get started on the vehicles. I hate painting anything bigger than infantry, but I quite enjoyed the venom. I think I was a little heavy on the washes so it looks a little strange on the large flat surfaces, but overall it's not too bad. Fairly quick and easy to do! Hooray! Venom spam for everyone!
